Lt Gen Jeffery Kruse, head of the US Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), was fired this week along with two other senior military officials.
Kruse had disagreed with Trump’s assessment that the US had destroyed Iran’s nuclear capability. Kruse said Iran’s capability had been set back by a matter of months only.
Over time, Trump has been replacing the top-level military with lackies who will be loyal to him over America and the law.
In doing that, Trump is removing the military brass who would object to him deploying full-time military (and not just the National Guard) in US cities, which would be a major escalation in Trump’s war to completely take over America.
